Dimapur, Oct. 14 (EMN): In view of the detection of a Covid-19 positive person on October 12, the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A, has notified that the district task force (DTF), during its emergency meeting, decided to seal the office of the Senior Treasury Officer, Kohima.
The office was sealed as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 in workplace settings issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR Division), government of India, dated May 18, 2020.
The DC stated the aforementioned office has been temporarily closed for a period of 48 hours adding that fumigation of the premises is being initiated following all health safety measures and SOPs of the government.
It also stated that the sealed area has been mapped and cordoned off and the public and all concerned are advised to follow all safety precautions by wearing masks all the time, frequently wash hands and maintain social or physical distance to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area.
