DIMAPUR — Dimapur-based The Nagaland Madrigal Singers (TNMS), which will represent India this year at the 13th World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand, had a send-off-cum-benefit concert at Lorin Hall, Tetso College, Chümoukedima, on July 5.
TNMS, founded in September 2023 and led by founder and conductor Hito Kiho, comprises graduates of music conservatories and all members are professionally trained musicians, according to an update.
The ensemble performs a wide repertoire of various styles and forms, including classical choral works, sacred music, Asian and Naga folksongs, international folksongs, contemporary music, and popular music.
