
DIMAPUR — A four-day self-employment boot camp, organised by Likya Yankho Council Wokha, in collaboration with the YouthNet, concluded on June 16.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The event witnessed presence of esteemed dignitaries including the district youth sports officer, Libemo Jami, and Anuranjan Singh, MGNF of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, GoI, Wokha.
The boot camp, held from June 13 to 16th was aimed at empowering young individuals with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their employability and success in today’s competitive job market, stated an update from the YouthNet.
Speaking at the valedictory session, Libemo Jami, has emphasised on continuous learning and skill development for personal and professional growth. He also encouraged the participants to embrace challenges and persist in their pursuit for achieving success.
In order to encourage the participants in their newly acquired skills and enable them excel in their careers, he has assured to extend support towards making paper bag and distribute to every household. He believed that it would be a huge contribution towards attaining sustainability and generate income by the participants.
“Throw away your shyness and ego if you want to survive in this world. Small beginnings and a tiny little idea are the future of Nagaland,” Libemo said
Report also stated that Anuranjan Singh has shared insights on the government’s ongoing efforts to promote skill and development entrepreneurship among the youth. He also highlighted on the importance of such initiatives in bridging the skills gap and fostering economic development.
The camp concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by L Oponthung Kinghen, secretary of LYC.
