Kohima, Jan. 6 (EMN): Selection test for admission into the state sports academy, Dimapur for sports person under sepaktakhraw, boxing, football and athletics will be held from the second week of January.
According to Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Akumla Chuba in a press release, informed that the selection test for admission into State Sports Academy, Dimapur in the following disciplines under 14 and for football (boys) only both under 14 and under 17 as stated below:
- Sepaktaktraw (girls) and athletics (girls) at Government Higher Secondary School, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur on Jan. 10 at 10 am
- Boxing (boys & girls) at Government Higher Secondary School, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur on Jan. 15 at 8 am.
- Football (boys) at State Stadium, Dimapur on Jan. 16 at 9 am.
The release added that admissions will be considered for the above mention age categories as on Jan. 1, 2019 and the application forms can be obtained from the Directorate/State Sports Academy, Dimapur during Office hours.
The application along with attested copy of birth certificate for proof of age, entry fee of INR 50, Adhaar card and 2 (two) copies of latest passport size photo should reach the Director Youth Resources & Sports, Kohima on or before the mentioned dates for the above disciplines, the report added.
