Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): The 11th selection cum training camp organised by Nagaland Sport Climbing Associate (NSCA) concluded on Saturday at its institute at Full Nagarjan Opp. Power House Dimapur. The camp commenced on October 12.
The objective of the selection camp was to represent at the 19th North East Zone Sports Climbing Competition meet 2017, organised by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation IMF North East Zone Committee, scheduled to be held from 26 to 29 of October at Tripura Sports School, Dasharath Dev Sports complex, Badharghat, Agartala, Tripura hosted by Tripura Sports Climbing Association (TSCA).
There will be different events in the competitions as per rules of International Federation of Sports Climbing (IFSC) for the following categories; Lead, Speed and Bouldering Climbing for sub junior (boys and girls) born in between 2004 to 2007, Junior (boys and girls) born between 2001 to 2003 and men and women for 17 years and above. The selected climbers from this competition will compete in the forthcoming 23rd National Sports Climbing Championship 2017.
