Seized liquor destroyed in Mokokchung

(EM Images)[/caption] Mokokchung, Feb. 6 (EMN): The Mokokchung district administration today destroyed a total of 952 cases of liquors seized on February 4 night. The destruction of liquor was carried out under Mokokchung Police Station- I case no 9/18 U/S 44 (e) Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition Act, 1989 R/W 177 MV Act. ABAM executive secretary Dr. Rev. Mar Astongchanger, president of Watsu Mungdang and her team, EAC Mokokchung Hq, EAC Ongpangkong, Reserved DSP Mokokchung and SPDO Mokokchung were present at the destruction site. Giving details, a statement from the district administration stated that a total of 160 cases of whisky, 430 cases of rum and 362 cases of beer were destroyed.
