Dimapur, May 11 (EMN): As part of ‘Op Sadbhavana,’ Kiphire battalion of IGAR (North) headquarters under the aegis of Spear Corps organised a medical camp-cum-Covid-19 awareness drive for the residents of Phokphur village in Kiphire district on May 10.

A defence release stated that the medical team provided medical assistance, medicines and other Covid-19 related essentials. It added that 72 persons were benefited from the camp.

In another programme, Kohima battalion of the Assam Rifles donated 1200 litres of drinking water to Meriema Covid Care Centre, Kohima, on May 10. The water would be helpful for the Covid-19 patients undergoing segregation at Covid Care Centre, a defence release stated.
