Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): A security co-ordination meeting headed by Deputy Commissioner of Wokha Orenthung Lotha, who is also the chairman of the district task force, was held on August 11 at DC's chamber.
Superintendent of Police Imtitoshi, Commandant 40th Assam Rifles Col. K S Gill and IO SIB Sukupu Sema also attended the meeting, an update informed.
The meeting discussed about monitoring of all check gates and entry points by the police personnel will be strictly carried out to contain unregulated movement of vehicles and people, extortion and other unwarranted actions from fringe elements.
It was also decided that the Independence Day celebration will be observed with minimal attendance of people adhering to the SOP issued from the government.
All other orders, SOP and guidelines to remain the same and to resolutely follow till further notice from the government.
