NSRLM will organise a two-day SHG Seasonal Bazaar in Kohima on September 9-10, showcasing natural produce, homemade products and handicrafts from Wokha district.
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) will organise a two-day Self Help Groups (SHGs) seasonal bazaar at Old NST, Kohima, opposite Crescent International Hotel, on September 9 and the 10th.
The bazaar aims to promote natural produce and homemade products of SHGs while encouraging public support for community-based initiatives. The products on display and sale will be sourced from Wokha district.
According to a press release issued by the NSRLM, the produce will include green leafy vegetables, pumpkin, chayote, pineapples, varieties of chillies, fruits and taro stems.
Homemade and locally produced items such as pickles, juice, brooms and handicrafts will also be available. Livestock and other products, including poultry and crabs, will also be showcased.

Governor pitches year-round tourism for Nagaland
The initiative seeks to create public awareness about the produce and products available through SHGs and provide local producers with opportunities to market their goods.
It also aims to explore avenues for expanding their market reach and scaling up their enterprises.
Promoted under the tagline “Go Green, Eat Fresh and Support Local,” the bazaar will remain open from 8 am to 5 pm on both days.
