SDPDB Pughoboto proposes road works from Lazami to Pughoboto

DIMAPUR — MLA and chairman of Pughoboto sub-divisional planning and development board (SDPDB), Dr. Sukhato A Sema, has suggested making a proposal to the PWD (Road and Bridges) to repair the road from Lazami junction to Pughoboto town.

Sema has made this proposal during the monthly SDPDB meeting held at DB hall in the office of the ADC in Pughoboto town on July 6. He has stressed on the need for inclusive development, youth empowerment, plantation drive, and quality education. Besides, he has suggested on the need to sent proposal to the Roads & Bridge department to repair the road from Lazami junction to Pughoboto town.

A DIPR report stated that the house has discussed seeking permission from the School Education to run Little Blossom School. It was also agreed to send a proposal to Home Commissioner for seeking licensing authority for small arms within the Pughobto sub-division.

It stated that discussions were held for setting up National Informatic Centre (NIC) in Pughoboto town. It added that powerpoint presentation was made by SDO Soil and Water Conservation, Alika Zhimomi.

Another powerpoint presentation was made on the cultivation of gooseberry by an official from the Agri Research Centre, Medziphema.
