The annual sports week of S.D.Jain Higher Secondary School (SDJHSS) Dimapur commenced on Monday April 4 at DDSC Stadium, Golaghat Road Dimapur. School Secretary and Managing Director of NIIT Dimapur Ajay Sethi inaugurated the Annual Sports week by hoisting the School flag. In his address, he encouraged the students to develop the fighting spirit during the sports week and to prepare oneself to face the tougher challenges in future life. He also called on the students to never give up on one’s own goals set in life irrespective of whatever may happen in between. Joint Secretary of the school Vikas Jain lighted the symbolic replica of the Olympic Torch. The other highlights of the opening ceremony were Contingent March Past, Oath taking, cultural song and dance performances by the students. SDJHSS Principal delivered the welcome address. The event will continue till 7th April 2016.
