SCMP resolves to send 30 students for studies abroad

DIMAPUR — Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar (International Border Awareness Forum of Northeast), a non-profit, non-religious, and non-political organisation, has resolved to send 30 students from Indo-Myanmar border areas for studies abroad. SCMP

The resolution to this effect was taken during its organisational meeting held in Kohima on May 2, stated a press release issued by the general secretary of Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar (SCMP), Shomwang Wangnao.

It stated that Pradeepan, national co-convener of Seema Jagran Manch; Ankur Gogoi, northeast committee member of Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar and in-charge of Nagaland and Eastern Arunachal Pradesh; and officials of five districts of Nagaland attended the meeting.

It added that the forum has appointed S Kihomong Yim as the president of Nagaland state committee during the meeting. It further informed that several resolutions were adopted for the welfare of the people living in the Indo-Myanmar border areas.
