Schools in Mokokchung observe NIPUN Bharat

MOKOKCHUNG — Government Middle School in Alempang under the aegis of senior school education officer (SDEO), Mokokchung, organised a series of NIPUN Bharat, G20 activities from June 1 to the 15th on the theme “One Earth, One family, One Future,” at the school campus.

On June 15, a programme was organised where students from class 6 to 8 participated in quiz competition and other activities including numeracy and literacy, painting and essay writing.

Government Middle School, Senkalemba, also observed Janbhagidari or people's participation as part of its literary day programme on June 15. The literary day was held on the theme "Embracing G20 and Re-enforcing Nipun Bharat.”

Various competitions such as essay writing on the theme "One earth, one family, one future," drawing competition on the theme "Save Planet earth" and drawing of Nipun Bharat logo, colouring competition on the theme “Do it yourself (DIY) incorporating reduce, re-use, recycle principles, inter-house Nipun Bharat theme song. Before the competitions, the students presented the Nipun Bharat theme song.

It mentioned that NIPUN Bharat focuses on transforming the monotonous education system into an integrated, enjoyable, all-inclusive and engaging. It instructs teachers or educators to prepare a study plan that develops the students' literary and basic language skills.
