Schools in Kohima to remain closed on March 7

All schools located in Kohima town will remain closed on Tuesday, March 7 in view of the security measures being undertaken on account of the scheduled arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dignitaries for the swearing- in ceremony of the chief minister and the council of ministers of Nagaland.

However, those schools where students appear for examinations will function as usual, stated an update from the department of School Education.

 Further, schools located outside the limits of Kohima will also function as usual. Heads of those schools have been directed to check the traffic advisory issued by the competent authorities and advise students accordingly.
