Dimapur, March 10(EMN): Holy Cross Higher Secondary School of Dimapur organised a marathon on March 10 with a theme calling against tobacco use. The event is being observed for the second year in the school.
According to staffers of the school the students turned up at the school around 4 am showing great enthusiasm to take part in the competition. They represented four groups. Junior and senior girls ran the same route, although shorter than that of the senior boys’ who started from the school’s ground covering Duncan Bosti to the DC junction through to the Dhobinala junction and back to the school.
The chairman of the school, Rev. Father. Thomas flagged off the event for boys while the school’s Principal Philip Magh flagged off the event for the girls.
