School of Eng. and Tech, NU sports meet commences

Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): The 11^th annual sports week of the School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University got underway on Tue. March 5, at the State stadium in Dimapur. According to an update from the assistant professor in-charge of games and sports, the opening ceremony was attended by Tepulezonu Tetso, District Sports Officer, Dimapur as the special invitee. Prof. S. K. Sharma, Dean of SET, in his speech encouraged the students to participate in the sports week with discipline and true spirit of sportsmanship and friendship. Special invitee Tepulezonu Tetso expressed that education without co-curricular activities is incomplete. She also stated that intelligence or talent alone cannot make us successful without hard work and discipline.
