Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): A workshop to discuss the current trends in “teaching-learning process” was held on June 17 at Christian Standard higher secondary school of Changtongya in Mokokchung district.
The workshop was conducted by Fazl Ali College.
The government’s publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) issued to the media on Tuesday updates about the event.
The resource persons for the technical session of the event: Assistant Professor Dr. Temjennaro who she spoke about general concepts and misconceptions in education’; Assistant Professor Katikala spoke about current trends and issue pertaining to “students learning”; Assistant Professor Talisenla spoke on the topic ‘re-orienting to curriculum’ (sic). Assistant Professor Leremmongla spoke about ‘problem solving.’ Their surnames were not given in the IPR report
Assistant Professor Dr. Tainla Mar spoke on the topic ‘constructivism as a pedagogical strategy.’
Altogether 57 higher secondary students and 20 teaching staff members participated in the programme, the IPR added.
