The B.Ed students of Salt Christian College of Teachers Education (SCCTE) celebrated the World Health Day on April 7 on the theme “Halt the rise: Beat diabetes,” where the students of second semester conducted seminars in five schools.
Seminars were conducted at Government Middle School, Naharbari; Government Middle School, Indisen; Hebron Higher Secondary School, Sovima; Sacred Heart School, 5th Mile; and Namgarh Higher Secondary School, Rail gate.
In order to spread awareness on the types, symptoms, effects and prevention of diabetes, the team provided various teaching-learning materials to boost understanding on severity of diabetes.
