Dimapur, Feb. 22: Governor odisha, five times Nagaland Chief Minister of the state, S.C. Jamir has congratulated Dr. Surhozelie Liezietsu, on becoming the Chief Minister of Nagaland.
“Your assuming the office represents a defining moment in state’s history and testifies to the renewed confidence which the people of Nagaland have placed in you to chart the future course of the state” S.C. Jamir stated.
Having long experience as a Minister and legislator, S.C. Jamir said Dr. Surhozelie have better knowledge of the ground reality. He also expressed great hope that Dr. Surhozelie and his new Government will work dedicatedly to bring people together, make good things prevail and contribute constructively to the stability, development and economy of Nagaland.He also looks forward to a continued, close and good cooperation in promoting peace in the state.
Further, S.C. Jamir wished success to Dr. Surhozelie administration, his personal well-being and for the peace and prosperity of Nagaland.
NPF Mon: Naga People’s Front (NPF) Mon Division and its frontals- Women Wing, Youth Wing and Farmers Wing congratulated Dr. Surhozelie Liezietsu for being elected as the 17th Chief Minister of Nagaland to salvage the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DNA) government from waning due to treacherous political gambling by certain section of Naga society.
The division believed that, the new Chief Minister will confidently realize needs of the people of Nagaland and execute his given responsibilities to the satisfaction of Naga people.
NPF Mon Division also said all its frontal orgnaisations have been enduringly associated with the undisputedly dogmatic leadership of Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, who today has conveniently scaled to highest political chair of the State. It also stated that it was a sign of his truthfulness and never fading passion for sacrificing his entire life for the people of Nagaland.
The division extended its profound appreciation to T.R. Zeliang for shouldering the affairs of the State with utmost devotion and sacrifices for nearly three years when in office of Chief Minister and also finally relinquishing the coveted chair with humility to bail out the melodramatically projected sub-siding law and order condition confronting the State.
It also congratulated TR Zeliang on his appointment as Chairman of DAN Coordination Committee and extended best wishes to newly appointed ministers namely- Chutezo Sazo, Imkong L Imchen and G. Kaito Aye.
Further, NPF Mon division and frontal organisations reassured its total cooperation and support to both the newly appointed Chief Minister and the Chairman of DAN and wished success in their effort to create a better Nagaland.
Former BJP president: Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dr. M. Chuba Ao has congratulated Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu on swearing in as the 17th Chief Minister of Nagaland State. He described Dr. Surhozelie as one of the tallest leader and highly qualified, an educationist, seasoned politician, magnificent and a humble person. He believed that under his abled leadership Nagaland state will be steered towards unity, peace and progress.
