
DIMAPUR — The State Bank of India (SBI), Medziphema branch, in collaboration with Medziphema administration, conducted a workshop on 'Customer connect programme' for state government employees at City Centre in Medziphema town on Thursday.
The EAC of Medziphema, Vithwel Kweho, expressed his happiness as many employees have benefited through the workshop. He further encouraged to conduct such workshops in the future.
The manager of financial inclusion at SBI RBO, Dimapur, T Lhingneikim, and the department manager, Medziphema, Nehriizii Pfotte, have highlighted customer rights, policies, grievance redressal and several schemes taken up by the bank for the benefit of government employees.
The branch manager of SBI, Medziphema, Thongkholun Khongsai, highlighted the purpose of the programme aimed at enhancing banking services and specific needs and benefits of state government employees.
He highlighted the variants of salary packages accounts for state government employees, the features and benefit of salary package accounts, SBI Rishtey saving accounts of the family members at SBI and extending various benefits, SBI Surya Ghar loan for solar roof top which could be applied through PM survey ghar portal, NDS Vatsalya new scheme by the central government for government employee benefits.
It stated that several questions raised by government employees were clarified.
More than 20 government departments attended the programme.
