career guidance and placement cell of Sazolie College, Jotsoma, organised an
educational seminar on careers in civil services at Veneizono Hall on
Wednesday, aiming to guide students towards informed career choices.
- An update from the college stated that the resource person,
Sachin Barwal, academic director of Imperial IAS Academy and former faculty
member at Utkarsh and Kautaliya Delhi, shared insights into various career
paths in civil services.
- He covered topics such as planning for competitive
examinations, skill development, syllabus, books and resources, and emerging
job market trends. Barwal emphasised the importance of self-discipline,
continuous learning, and adaptability.
- Betonika L Chishi, academic counsellor at Imperial IAS
Academy, later announced that students of Sazolie College would be eligible for
concessions and offers for NPSC and integrated coaching (NPSC + UPSC) from the
academy.
- The seminar featured Q&A sessions where students
addressed their concerns and received expert advice.
