The Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) has urged the Tenyimia Public Organization (TPO) & Board of Arbitrators to take appropriate measures against the provocative activities of the Mao people lest SAYO will take its own course of action as deem fit.
SAYO President Tepupal Rote and General Secretary Viraseto Neikha in a press note said, on the advice of Angami Public Organisation (APO) it has handed over the SAPO-MAO issue over Kezoltsa to the Tenyimia Public Organization (TPO) on July 4, 2015. Since then, the SAYO has restrained in compliance to TPO and its ban has been kept in abeyance.
Stating that Mao people kept provoking on various occasions, the press note said, SAYO and SAPO along with members of TPO discovered stolen parts of D50 bulldozers at Kezoltsa. Further, it said, the Mao people put salt in the engine of the dozer, provoking the SAYO.
“The Mao people in continuous process constructing road to Kezoltsa, which was inspected and confirmed by TPO on dated 8th January 2016. Also the Mao people were asked to stop the construction vide TPO letter Dated 9th January 2016 which was ignore and they Mao people keep on going with road construction in full swing till date.”“The Mao people also have stolen and carried away SAYO logs and fire wood loaded in the truck (Shaktiman) and burnt down its fire woods on 27 January 2016.”
“The Mao people on 27th January 2016 burnt down the SAPO rest house just the day TPO & Board of Arbitrators have passed the resolution on 26th of January 2016 to impose a fine penalty minimum of Rs, 5,00,000/- (five lac) on both side defaulters.”
“This deed of Mao people is a direct challenge to SAYO. However SAYO has been sharing its restraint till today having honour, respect and have full faith on TPO.
