Dimapur, July 30 (EMN): A local organisation in Satoi has expressed gratitude to G Kaito Aye, Minister National Highways & Political Affairs, for his ‘unending support and remarkable contributions toward the development of Satoi area.’
The Satoi Tokukujo Kukami Hoho (STKH) issued a note Sunday stating that a “long awaited dream and desire of the people of Satoi area” has been realized with the introduction of Nagaland State Transport Bus Service connecting Zuneheboto district headquarters to Satoi extra additional commissioner headquarters on June 17, this year.
“The introduction of government bus service has not only brought conveyance but has also ushered in new avenues and economic stability for the people of the area. Not forgetting the department concerned in regard for the services provided, the people of Satoi area are immensely grateful to Shri G. Kaito Aye for his noble and tireless services rendered toward our people,” the organisation stated.
“We are proud to declare that the once most remote and unreachable area in the district is now being counted among others, from road connectivity to infrastructure development, water supply, electricity, schools, medical care, offices, transportation and the opportunities to earn ones daily bread. Satoi area has seen a sea of change under his able leadership,” the organisation claimed.
Also, the group asserted that “although many allegations are being made through social media against his leadership misusing RTI as reference,” the organization claimed that the RTI furnished by the departments giving details of works and mentioning the firms “does not imply corruption but rather it indicates the amount of development undertaken in the area.”
The STKH warns those malicious individuals to refrain from making wild allegations without verifying the works and status of work physically for cheap publicity and petty politics, the press release added.
