[caption id="attachment_256507" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Farmers from Pughoboto subdivision sift through saplings that are being raised at the Rural Natural Connect, Botoshe Farm, at Lazami.[/caption] Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): The establishment of the subdivision agriculture officer of Pughoboto in Zunheboto district distributed 7,500 saplings of the tree bean (Yonchak) and Alder to about 100 farmers. The saplings were being raised at the Rural Natural Connect, Botoshe Farm at Lazami village, updates stated. The sapling were distributed by subdivision agriculture officer of Pughoboto (SDAO) Myanthung Patton. Extra Additional Commissioner Ghathashi Nuhuta, who was the special guest, was stated to have urged the farmers to take the opportunity provided by the department to improve farming. The officer advised them to plant the saplings at right time and nurture them for better growth, the updates stated. Also, SDAO Myanthung Patton said the saplings were raised on a buy-back policy by the department to encourage rural educated unemployed youths to take up farming activities.
