Sanitation awareness program held in Peren dist.

Dimapur, July 24 (EMN): The Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), PHED Peren held a sensitisation programme on ‘water and sanitation’ on July 23 at Peren town. An update from DIPR informed that the programme was held at three venues of the nine town ward’s council hall where all members from the wards attended. The public were sensitised on matters relating to water and sanitation, and the importance of building sanitary toilets in every household in the area. It may be noted here that the PHED is undertaking vigrous cleanliness campaign under the Swacch Baharat Mission all over the state.
