Samuel Konyak releases new album ‘Minyong Phanang’

Samuel Konyak a well known musician from Mon town today released an album ‘Minyong Phanang’ comprising of 8 modern Gospel songs one Hymnal cover (Come Thou found of every blessing)and 7 originals from Konyak dialect. By releasing the album, the musician says that he wants to challenge the youths, the younger generation to come forward, record and produce songs in one’s indigenous dialect. Samuel is also the lead vocal of the band ‘Toxic Peace’ based in Mon, and also a well known person/figure, known by all for his valuable and humble service towards the need of society. Through this album production, the musician wishes to help the Youth Ministry. Samuel says the album is dedicated to his late Father, P Hamnyei Konyak.
