Dimapur, Dec. 19: To equip ATMA functionaries with skills for imparting need based training to the farmers, Extension Education Institute - North East Region (EEI - NER), Assam Agricultural University (AAU) Jorhat in collaboration with State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Nagaland, organised a training on “Management games for trainers” from December 14 – 17 at SAMETI, Medziphema.
The resource persons for the training programme were Dr. AK Bhattacharya, Professor EEI, Assam Agriculture University (AAU), Jorhat, and Dr. BL Khuhly, Research Associate, EEI (AAU) Jorhat.
A plethora of topics such as Concept of management and management games; Application of management games and their advantages in job accomplishment; Management game I (Conflict management), Management game II (Ego gram); Management game III (Leadership); Management game IV (Listening); Management game V (A systematic approach); Management game VI (A systematic approach-A); Management game VII (Synchronise walking); Management game VIII (A systematic approach-B); Management game IX (A systematic- C); and Consolidation of lessons learnt; were imparted by the resource persons. The training course also comprised of feedback presentation and course evaluation.
The valedictory function was chaired by Ms. Sentinaro Longchar, DPD SAMETI, while feedbacks from the trainees were given by Subenthung Odyuo, DPD Mon, and Ms. Watisenla Imsong, ATM, Tuensang.
In his speech, Course Director, Dr. AK Bhattacharya encouraged the trainees to take the training experience to their respective posting places and impart the knowledge to the target group. He also congratulated the trainees on completing a very important training programme with much enthusiasm and participation.
He further appreciated SAMETI Nagaland for extending cooperation and making the training programme a success.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vikaho Chophi, DPD SAMETI.
