Salesian College of Higher Education showcases Bart Millard’s song ‘I can only imagine’

DIMAPUR — Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE), Dimapur, showcased a vibrant musical adaptation of the Christian band MercyMe's song ‘I can only imagine,’ written by Bart Millard.

An update from the college stated that the one-and-a-half-hour performance, inspired by Millard's relationship with his abusive father and his reflections on heaven, took place on September 27 and 28.

Fr. Elow Samuel, the Rector, welcomed the attendees and expressed gratitude for their continued support to the brothers. He emphasised the importance of dramatics and theatre in students' education, which contributes to their overall development.

It stated that recognition was accorded to Fr. Hriiyio Michael for directing the play as well as to assistants namely John Newmei, PK Paul, Titus Panmei and all participating students for their exceptional teamwork and dedication.

The event celebrated the talents of the students, blending music, drama and dance in a tribute to faith and resilience.
