Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): The Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) hosted a youth programme on Nov. 5 in Dimapur during which around 600 youngsters from 40 centres participated.
Principal of Don Bosco Fr. Joshua Gangmei declared the event opened, updates on Sunday informed.
The inaugural function was followed by a prayer service that was conducted for the participants ‘with the objective of bringing about spiritual transformation,’ it was informed.
The chief guest of the programme was the president of the Catholic Association of Nagaland, Dr. Dizichü Simon, it was informed. In his address, the chief guest said that ‘fear should be overcome and personal responsibility will bring about change,’ the updates stated. He exhorted the participants to bring changes to their personal lives ‘because destiny is a choice,’ the updates stated.
Fr. TC Joseph, the guest of honour also highlighted that love and sincerity are personal responsibility. The program concluded with prize distributions, it was informed.
