Sainik School Punglwa organised its Inter-House Basketball Championship from July 21 to 29.

DIMAPUR — Sainik School Punglwa organised its Inter-House Basketball Championship for the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Girls categories from July 21 to the 29th.
The tournament was organised with an aim to foster a spirit of healthy competition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among the students, according to a press release.
Principal Col. Dr. Smita Misra attended the inaugural and final matches of the championship.
In the Sub-Junior category, the final was played between Pauna and Shilloi houses, with Pauna House emerging as the champions. Keneinguzo Pienyu was named the Best Player in the Sub-Junior category for his outstanding performance and leadership on the court.
In the Junior category, Saramati House showcased its prowess and determination, defeating Doyang House to win the championship title. Lijingse Sangtam was declared the Best Player in the Junior category for his skills and agility.
The finals of the championship also featured a match of the girlstudents. The event concluded with the distribution of awards by the principal to the winners and runners-up.
