Sainik School Punglwa holds Inter-House Cross Country Championship

DIMAPUR — Sainik School Punglwa organised the Inter-House Cross Country Championship 2025-26 at Punglwa on Saturday.

The event was participated in by all cadets from Class 6 to Class 12 in six categories under junior and senior groups, including girl cadets, according to an update.

In Group A, Mohammed Sohail of Dzukou House emerged as the gold medallist, leading the pack in the all-boy cadets of the Class 6 category.

Thampong Konyak of Pauna House took the top spot in Group B, comprising all-boy cadets of classes 7, 8 and 9. Yazei Konyak of Tizu House was the gold medallist in Group C, featuring all-boy cadets of classes 10, 11 and 12.

In the girls' categories, Yachummaro Jami of Dhansir House won gold in Group D, all-girl cadets of Class 6. Lumrola Sangtam of Melak House took the top spot in Group E, all-girl cadets of classes 7 and 8. Deepshri Pathak of Shilloi House was the gold medallist in Group F, all-girl cadets of classes 9 and 10.

Pauna House emerged triumphant in the junior category, clinching the championship trophy. In the senior category, Japfu House defended their title and reigned supreme.
