[caption id="attachment_245259" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Patkai house captain receiving the inter-house hockey championship trophy on April 22.[/caption] Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): The Inter-House Hockey Championship of Sainik School Punglwa, which began on April 10, concluded on April 22 with the final match played between Patkai house and Tizu house. According to an update received here on Tuesday, Patkai house won the final match 2-1 to lift the trophy. Tizu and Melak house finished second and third respectively. The best player award was given to Cdt. Sonu Kumar of Tizu house. Principal Gp Capt Sharad R Keskar attended the occasion as the chief guest and gave away the medals, certificates and trophy. In his short address to the players and the cadets, Keskar spoke about the importance of the game as it is the national game and stressed upon the need to learn the game. Hockey, is a rare game in the state, however the cadets in the school has found a rare opportunity of familiarising and learning the skill of the game.
