Dimapur, Aug. 2 (EMN): Sainik School Punglwa organized an 'inter-house quiz competition on Aug. 1 2018' at the Arjan Singh Indoor Sports Complex.
A press release recieved here today informed that the competition was held to inculcate the habit of quizzing and examine the general knowledge on current issues and the presence of mind in the cadets.
It informed that the quiz competition comprised of seven rounds covering topics such as 'current affairs, science and technology, sports, literature, audio, visual and rapid fire'.
Saying that the event provided the audience and enriching knowledge, the release informed that the event was interesting and interactive and it kept the contestants fully engaged throughout the session.
After a tough competition, 'Japfu house' emerged as the champion, while Doyang and Melak houses secured the second and third position respectively.

The principal of the school, "Gp Capt Sharad R Keskar", who attended the event as the chief guest addressed the cadets and complemented all the participants as well as the winners and later gave away the prizes and trophy to the winning cadets of the different houses, the release further informed.
