Sainik School Basketball C’ship concludes

EMN Dimapur, April 17 Sainik School Punglwa Annual Inter-House Basketball Championship 2015-16 for junior category concluded on April 16 with Tizu House finishing at the top. The final match was played between Melak and Tizu Houses. Cadet Shalo Rengma and Cadet Moba Konyak with their great skills in the game led their House to a comfortable win with 44-34 points. Saramati House finished third in the championship. Capt (IN) Kanchan Mukherjee, Principal, graced the occasion as the chief guest and gave away the certificates and trophy. The championship began on April 6 and was played purely under knock-out system. After the event, names of Cadets selected to represent the school for East Zone Sports Championship were announced.
