Y Vikheho Swu speaking during the SABAK children festival in
Natsumi village on Saturday.
- DIMAPUR — A
three-day children festival, organised by the children ministry under the Sumi
Aphuyemi Baptist AkukuhouKuqhakulu (SABAK) got underway in Natsumi village
under Pughoboto sub-division of Zunheboto district on January 10.
- Addressing the gathering on the second day of the festival
as the speaker, Y Vikheho Swu, former minister from Pughoboto assembly
constituency, urged the gathering to live righteously and commended the SABAK
women’s ministry, evangelical ministry, urban ministry and the children’s
ministry for carrying forward the work of God.
- Drawing example from the Bible as well as from the life of
Billy Graham, he emphasised that Billy Graham was greatly influenced by his
Sunday school teachers and asked them to do the same with the children. He also
urged the Sunday school teachers to rededicate themselves for the work of the
Lord as the children are the future.
- Commending the host Natsumi village, he stated that the
village is one of the best as well as one of the most picturesque villages in
the region.
- He urged the gathering to make the full use of their
God-given talent and bring glory to His name. Elaborating that God-given
talents are in a specific field, he asked the gathering to tap their own
talents in whichever field they might be.
- The festival would conclude on January 12.
