KOHIMA — The
inaugural session of the 30th games and sports meet of Rukizu Youth
Organisation (RYO) was held at GMS Rukizu, Pfutsero town in Phek district, on
Dec. 12, with Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA, as the special speaker.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mero encouraged the
sportspersons to be disciplined in their respective fields and also challenged
them to master in a particular field for better result.
He also called upon the youth to advocate peace through
sports.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Shevohu Khamo,
chairman of Rukizu colony, while Deto Kezo, games and sports secretary, RYO,
administered oath to the teams.
