Imphal, Oct. 5 (EMN): In a move to spread mass awareness among the stakeholders, the Right to Information Week (RTI) 2018 was inaugurated at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound in Imphal on Friday.
Minister for Information and Public Relations Thongam Biswajit Singh along with Kakching MLA Y Surchandra Singh, State Chief Information Commissioner Th Ibobi Singh, newly appointed State Information Commissioners Dr. S Ibocha Singh and Oinam Sunil Singh attended the inaugural function.
The event was organised by Manipur Information Commission with an objective to create awareness about the RTI Act, 2005 under the sponsorship of department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.
