WOKHA — The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Wokha, conducted a two-wheeler riding test for applicants seeking taxi permits at the District Transport Office (DTO) compound on Wednesday.
Altogether, 54 candidates had submitted applications, of which 11 remained absent.

The riding test was conducted by a board comprising Khughavi P Swu, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement), as convener, with Chumthungo Humtsoe, Assistant Enforcement Inspector, and Asaibe Guing, Motor Vehicle Inspector, as members.
The test was held in accordance with the notification issued by the RTA, Wokha, for applicants seeking the issuance of two-wheeler taxi permits. The process was supervised by the Extra Assistant Commissioner (Transport) to ensure smooth conduct.
Candidates were assessed on their riding skills and adherence to road safety requirements.
