Regional Transport Authority, Dimapur, invites applications from women candidates for allotment of two-wheeler pink taxi permits.

DIMAPUR — The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Dimapur, has invited applications from eligible women candidates for allotment of two-wheeler pink taxi permits under the Transport department notification dated December 5, 2025.
According to a public notice issued by the Office of the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Dimapur, a total of 15 permits for Dimapur and 15 permits for Chümoukedima, will be allotted to promote women empowerment and self-employment opportunities, a DIPR report stated. The pink taxi two-wheeler scheme is exclusively for female riders who are indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland, aged between 20 and 40 years.

Applicants must possess a permanent residential certificate, Aadhaar card with district address, valid driving licence, and unemployment certificate.
Application forms will be available at the office of the District Transport Officer, Dimapur, from February 9 on payment of INR 100 per form.
The last date for submission is February 20. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Shortlisted candidates for the riding/driving test will be announced on February 23 at the District Transport Officer’s office, Dimapur, it stated.
