Mokokchung, March 23 (EMN): Rotary Club of Mokokchung provided a hand washing station and running water facility to the government middle school at Penli ward in Mokokchung town as part of an initiative of the group called the ‘Happy School Project.’
The materials were donated through the humble contributions among the Rotarians of Mokokchung.
It was officially inaugurated by Sunil Saraf, Governor District (RID 3240), on March 23 in the presence of the school education committee, Penli Ward authority and well-wishers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Saraf underscored that ‘Happy School Project’ is programme under Rotary Club to provide basic amenities to schools like lights, toilets, washing station for the students. He also urged the students and teachers to maintain a hygienic environment in the school campus apart from imparting education.
