Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): The Kohima administration will be widening a portion of a road along NH-61 in Kohima town and has invited claims and objections, if any, to the establishment.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) issued updates on Thursday informing about the development.
The IPR informed that the deputy commissioner of Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has issued a notice informing that the land measuring 270 sq. mt/ 2906 sq.ft at Kezieke NH-61 in Kohima town will be widened.
The deputy commissioner has been duly authorized by the state government as competent authority in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition Act of 1884, the IPR stated. The administration has stated that if any person or party has any claim and objection on the said area, it may be submitted to deputy commissioner’s office within a period of 30 days with effect from the date of the notification in accordance with this land layout: North - Mhalelie's plot; South - Zeneizo's plot, East - NH 61, and West - Vilazolie's plot / Vilabeinuo's plot, the IPR stated.
