Dimapur, July 12 : The Nagaland RMSA Teachers' Association (NRMSATA) 2015-16 has temporarily withdrawn their proposed agitation with immediate effect.
The decision was taken after an assurance was made by Mission Director to clear two months’ salary for phase I and one month salary for phase II&III.
The rest of the pending salaries to be released soon after state receive the fund from the MHRD, Govt. of India.
The central forum expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all the concerned citizens, Village Education Committees (VEC), student bodies for their support and co-operation and the media persons for their tireless efforts by throwing wide range coverage in support of our cause.
The apex body put forth a request to all its members not to seek any political assistance for any further change of their posting place as it is directly or indirectly hampering the career of the students and also creates obstacles in the smooth functioning within the department as well.
It also urged members to be more diligent in their duties while motivating the career of the students.
The forum further warned, if detected any irresponsible and negligent behaviour which is undesirable on the part of the teachers will be summarily ousted from the association and the same will be brought to the concerned department notice.
