KOHIMA, OCTOBER 24
Dismayed over the failure of Nagaland RMSA officials in declaring the result of the viva voce interview conducted for graduate teachers under RMSA despite assurances, the RMSA written exam 2014 qualified candidates forum has called for an indefinite agitation from October 27 onwards.
A press release issued by the convener of the forum, Kakika Z Chishi and general secretary, Ruvuotonuo Ruth stated that the forum had earlier served an ultimatum to the RMSA department in August 2015 for declaration of the viva voce result and dispatching of appointment orders by October 8. Even though the given timeframe had lapsed, with assurance from the RMSA officials to declare the result soon, the forum stated its members have waited patiently for a positive outcome and called off their proposed agitation scheduled for October 20.“Being failed time and again with false assurance, the forum has decided to go for an indefinite agitation until and unless the viva voce result is declared and the appointment orders are given out,” the release stated. The forum informed that even if the viva voce result is declared, the agitation will continue till appointment orders are dispatched or qualified candidates are called for the same.
The forum executives have requested all the members to assemble outside the RMSA office on October 27 at 9.30 am where there will be a signature drive and strict action will be taken on members who fail to turn up.
“The forum shall not be held responsible for any untoward consequences,” it further cautioned.
