River of Soul Saving Ministry (RSSM) had organized a three-day Nagaland Orphanage Bible Camp from January 22 to 24 at Koinonia Prayer Centre on the theme ‘Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me (Psalms 27:10).’
The speakers of the camp were Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima; Vezokho Vero, pastor of Naga Shisha Hoho, Kohima; Letuolie Pienyü, pastor of Christian Revival Church, Pezielietsie, Kohima; and Khriesavituo Belho, pastor of Christian Revival Church, Keviphe.
Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo said the campers had built a strong faith that they belong to Jesus Christ and were convinced that God is their father. They have also got the confident and conviction that they could compete with any other children. He said the campers had committed to serve the Lord in different capacities.
Addressing the members, Rev. Kiewhuo appealed to one and all to come forward and support such orphanage Bible camp, while he also highlighted on the need to join hearts and give chance to them so that they could become somebody in future and allow them to feel that they are equal with other children.
Razou Angami, founder- cum- chairman of River of Soul Saving Ministry, said 113 orphans from Kohima, Peren, Dimapur, Ghaspani, Phek including Mao gate from Manipur had attended the camp.
Organisers informed that the camp would be held once in every two years. He said the objective of the Orphanage Bible camp was to bring the children closer to God and have fellowship to get blessing from God. He also stated that the Ministry would also conduct similar camp for persons with disability soon.
