Rising Sun Battalion wins the Senior Men's Cricket Tournament organised by Assam Rifles in Kiphire.
DIMAPUR — The Rising Sun Battalion emerged as the winner of the Senior Men's Cricket Tournament held in Kiphire from August 6 to the 8th.
The tournament was jointly organised by the Assam Rifles and the Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) to promote sportsmanship, healthy competition, and youth engagement.
According to an update, the tournament witnessed participation from three teams, namely Kiphire XI, DC XI, and Rising Sun Battalion, with each team comprising 16 players.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of ADC Kiphire (Headquarters), Longtiba Sangtam, and the Commanding Officer of 30 Assam Rifles.
