Dimapur, Jan. 21 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be presenting the Chief Minister's Meritorious Students Fellowship in a function that is scheduled to be conducted on January 31 at 11 am in the capital convention centre in Kohima.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave updates on Tuesday informing about the schedule.
The felicitation is for the best 50 students selected in order of merit, 55 students because of a tie in marks, belonging to indigenous Scheduled Tribes of Nagaland, in the high school leaving certificate board examination 2019 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), the IPR stated.
“The students with the respective head of institution where they are currently studying along with one parent or a family member are being invited to attend the programme. All invitees must report to the venue at 10:30 a.m. and should be seated by 10:45 a.m. Students should attend the programme in their school uniform,” the updates stated.
Eligible CMMSF candidates are instructed to download from the NBSE website nbsenagaland.com the forms: Particulars of meritorious students and ii) bond certificate which are to be duly filled up and mailed to cmmsf50ng@gmail.com along with all required documents by January 28, the updates stated.
“If any meritorious student studying outside the state cannot make it to the programme, they can depute a family member to receive the award. For such cases, information must be given to the NBSE latest by 28th January 2020 in written and mail it to cmmsf50ng@gmail.com, the updates informed.
The list of eligible meritorious students is available on the NBSE’s website, the IPR stated.
