Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio has expressed shock and deep pain at the untimely and sudden demise of late Thekruneituo Kire at New Delhi.
Rio in a condolence message said, late T. Kire was a retired director of the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland.
“He dedicated the best years of his life in the service of the Government and retired with an unblemished and exemplary record. He provided enterprising leadership to the department and made positive contributions at every given opportunity. I found him to be a dedicated, disciplined and committed person who carried out his responsibilities and assignments with utmost sincerity. Even after retirement, he continued to serve the people through his active engagements in society.”
His demise is a significant loss to his community in particular and the Naga public in general, since he still had many years of contributions left in him. His vast experience of decades of service and exposure would have been priceless for our society in multiple ways, Rio said and added, “We have all lost a committed person, an experienced and knowledgeable personality and a person who still had tremendous amount of contributions to make to our society.”
“It is also a personal loss to me and my family as he was a close family friend, who was always a source of encouragement and forever ready to help. My family members join me in conveying our deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family and pray to Almighty God to let the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”
NPCC president K Therie has expressed shock at the sad news of the passing of Tobu Kire, former Director, Department of Industries and Commerce. K Therie in his condolence message said Tobu Kire was a sincere and upright man and was diligent in executing his duties while serving the people in various capacities during his time in service.
“In his passing, we have lost an able and sincere man and a void which cannot be filled has been created. I share the painful loss with the bereaved family members in this difficult time,” K Therie said.
“I on my own behalf and on behalf of the NPCC convey heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that the Almighty God comfort and console them in this difficult time of grief. May his soul rest in peace,” the message added.
