Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio recalls Gandhi’s values of peace, truth, non-violence and harmony, urging unity and mutual respect
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Friday recalled Mahatma Gandhi’s values of peace, truth, non-violence, justice, equality and harmony on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
In a post on X, Rio said Gandhi’s life and legacy should inspire people to remain united, respect one another and work towards a peaceful and inclusive society.
“On Gandhi Jayanti, we reflect on the values he stood for: peace, truth, non-violence, justice, equality, and harmony,” Rio wrote.
He also called for these values to continue guiding efforts towards a peaceful and inclusive society.
