Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio praises eastern Nagaland citizens for their contributions to state development during ENPUC silver jubilee celebration.

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has commended the people of eastern Nagaland for their immense contributions to the state’s progress in public service, education, business, and other sectors.
Speaking at the silver jubilee event of Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Chümoukedima (ENPUC) held at Chümoukedima local ground on Saturday, Rio said that their recent success stories in agriculture, community service, and the arts reflect their commitment and perseverance.
“Happy to be part of the silver jubilee celebration of the Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Chümoukedima. This milestone marks a journey of unity and collective progress. Grateful to the founding members and the children of pioneers who have carried forward their vision and legacy,” Rio posted on X.
According to the chief minister, the ENPUC has stood as a pillar of fraternity, mutual support, and cultural pride over the past 25 years. He added that the union has nurtured a strong sense of belonging and togetherness while enriching the social and cultural life of Chümoukedima through the efforts of its leaders and members.
Rio called upon ENPUC members to honour the pioneers whose vision and dedication laid the foundation of the union. He also congratulated ENPUC on achieving the significant milestone.
“May the next 25 years be filled with greater achievements, stronger unity, and lasting prosperity,” he said.
Among other dignitaries, Minister for Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Jacob Zhimomi, also attended the celebration.
