Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio greets Khiamniungan and Pochury communities, wishing prosperity, unity and bountiful harvests during Tsokum and Yemshe
DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Sunday extended greetings to the Khiamniungan and Pochury communities on the occasion of their respective harvest festivals, Tsokum and Yemshe.
In a post on X, Rio greeted the Khiamniungan community on Tsokum, describing it as a festival marking the beginning of the harvest season and celebrating the spirit of community, unity and sharing.
He wished the community a bountiful harvest, along with good health, prosperity and well-being.
Rio also extended greetings to the Pochury community on Yemshe, terming it a festival to welcome the new harvest and seek blessings for a bountiful season.
He expressed hope that the festival would strengthen relationships and bring peace, renewed hope and unity.
